Why Fast?

The simple answer . . . because it works.

It’s the safest and easiest way I know to heal and rejuvenate the body – and . . . lose a little weight while you’re at it!

The scientific answer is best explained by David A. Sinclair, PhD, in his recent book, Lifespan.

Fasting and calorie restriction, writes Sinclair,

“ . . . engages (our) survival circuit, telling longevity genes to do what they have been doing since primordial ties: boost cellular defenses, keep organisms alive during times of adversity, ward off disease and deterioration, minimize epigenetic change, and slow down aging.”
